Harry's new audio showreel condenses his entire career so far - hundreds of TV and radio appearances, over 5000 gigs, sevaral albums and countless recording sessions into 10 short minutes. Have a listen to this exhibition of the UK's most versatile musician talking about music and demonstrating that it is possible for one musician to play classical, jazz, cabaret, pop & funk!
Stop Press! Harry on Newsnight!
After Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero was featured on Newsnight being interviewed by Jeremy Paxman and improvising on the Wombles theme, Harry sent his response (on behalf of British pianists!) in the form of Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Simpsons variations also on the Wombles! The Newsnight editor was so impressed that he immediately posted Harry's improvisations on the Newsnight website
Tell it to the Marines!
Professor of Saxophone for the Royal Marines Simon Bates has invited Harry down to the Marine Base in Portsmouth to give a joint masterclass and recital. Should be an interesting experience for a pianist as the base is officially classified as a ship and ordered as such. Perhaps a little different from the pampered ship life on the cruise liners!
